One of the world’s most captivating musicians, Siem was born in London, where he studied the violin at the Royal College of Music with Itzhak Rashkovsky, and later with Shlomo
Mintz, while attending Eton College and Cambridge University. At age 30, he became the
youngest Professor of Music in the UK (Leeds College of Music). He performs with one of the
rarest instruments on the classical music stage — a priceless 1735 Guarneri del Gesù violin
once owned by the King of Prussia. Siem has played all over the globe with many of the
world’s finest orchestras (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra,
Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic and Czech National Symphony
Orchestra) and conductors (including Charles Dutoit, Edward Gardner, Zubin Mehta, Yannick
Nézet-Séguin, Sir Roger Norrington, Libor Pesěk and Yuri Simonov). He has performed for the
Queen of Denmark and, after playing throughout China in 2016, was named Cultural Ambassador
of Nanjing.

Composer, multi-instrumentalist, and arranger Joachim Horsley is an exceptional American pianist who uses his favorite instrument to break musical barriers.
Having recently created original scores for Film and Television shows like HBOMax’s Gordita Chronicles, Batman: Soul of the Dragon and the hit Disney Channel Show Big City Greens, Horsley continues to scores his own story: a tale where the great composers of classical music infused their works with Afro-Caribbean rhythms.
“It’s an alternate universe: one where Beethoven, Chopin and Mozart are channeling Havana more than Vienna,” says Horsley. “To me, this is a way to meet old friends in a fresh context, giving our audiences a new take and a renewed appreciation for both the Classical world and the Caribbean cultures.”
The idea for this project started in 2015, after studying music in Cuba with his good friend and mentor Aldo Mazza, through his KOSA Cuba workshop. Cuban Rumba music, both in its sound and the way it’s created, made a lasting impression and inspired the first piece in this series. In 2016, Beethoven In Havana an arrangement of Beethoven’s 7th symphony in a Cuban style performed entirely by Horsley using the piano itself as a percussion instrument, was a viral hit gaining international attention and leading to the 2019 album Via Havana.

When the lights slowly dim in the splendid auditorium and the red velvet curtain opens soundlessly – then the little actors have their big moment, immersing us in a world filled with magic and fantasy. We forget that these graceful creatures, which can express an unsuspected range of emotions, are actually brought to life by an ensemble of puppeteers. Welcome to this unique world!
The technique used is considered UNESCO's cultural heritage. They have a wide repertoire from fairy tales to operas: Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, Rumpelstinkin, Alice in Wonderland, The Sound of Music, The Magic Flute, Hansel and Gretel, The Nutcracker, among others.

“Early music up-to-date” – this is the motto under which the Ensemble Bamberg Baroque is dedicated to the music of the old masters.
Marcos Fregnani-Martins (flute), Raúl Teo Arias (violin) and Natalia Solotych (harpsichord) have been playing together in various chamber music ensembles of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra for 15 years before they decided in 2014 to deal intensively with the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and Bamberg Baroque to found.
With a thirst for knowledge and passion, the artists are committed to researching historical performance practice. In the spirit of baroque tradition, the ensemble approaches the works creatively and offers original, innovative programs. Depending on the project, the instrumental cast is also expanded to include oboe, viola da gamba or lute.
The virtuosity, esprit and artistry of the artists are enthusiastically received by the public and the press. Their playing opens up the world of music "for connoisseurs and lovers" in line with Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's claim.
